The Museum of Ancient Life - Thanksgiving Point

Without question, this project was one of the most unique facilities ever built by Quantum.   Not only did we design, engineer and construct the building, but our crews assisted with assembling the large dinosaur exhibits, play areas and other notable structures of this facility.  It houses the Supersaurus, the largest dinosaur on the earth.

The Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point first opened in 2000. A group of Utah paleontologists approached Thanksgiving Point with an idea to build a world-class dinosaur museum.  A group which included Quantum Construction planned and assembled the exhibits of the Museum of Ancient Life, one of the world’s largest collections of mounted fossils. The museum was built to not just allow individuals to see the displays, but to interact and have an overall experience.   The museum also features a large movie screen auditorium known as the "Mammoth Screen 3D Theater". During museum hours, the theater shows science films relevant to the museum’s collections and exhibition.
